Corrupt Bargain --- no questions/discussion
Adams for President --- Q: Why was Adams not a good fit? A: He didn't embrace his office because he was very sarcastic and didn't mesh well with the politicians.
- He didn't necessarily follow the views of the nation;
- Nation: wanted states rights and sectionalism
- Adams: was very nationalistic and he urged upon the construction of roads and canals.
- He didn't shine because he didn't connect with the American people.
Overall his attitude was not liked because he supported the old nationalistic views, while the nation was slowly moving apart before he took office, but he came in thinking they were all a happy family.
